More fighting game goodness coming this weekend

If you still got that REV Major high and are looking for more fighting game goodness, this weekend has got you answered.

Evolution Championship Series 2017

The biggest event happening this weekend is the Evolution Championship Series. Now on its 21st year, it will be held over at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Evolution, or EVO for short, is widely regarded as the largest annual gathering of fighting game players in the world. Players from across different regions come to fight it out in various games. Those who succeed in winning a championship are regarded as the best players in the world.

This year at EVO there will be a total of 9 games highlighted; Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd REV2, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Injustice 2, King of Fighters XIV and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Both the Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 tournaments are part of the Capcom Pro Tour and Tekken World Tour respectively, so you can expect hype matces to be had all around
