TNC Pro Team managed to overcome their greatest obstacle en route to The International 2017 as they defeated Team Faceless in the SEA Regional Qualifiers Round Robin.
The 40-minute obliteration against the mightiest SEA team ended with the Filipino fan favorites having a perfect day. TNC swept all their four matches which resulted to a top seed finish at the end of Day 1. If this trend continues, Carlo 'Kuku' Palad and his team, once again, will represent the Philippines at The International.
Fnatic, meanwhile, was able to exhibit a competitive aura yesterday. Contrary to their past results against SEA teams, the Malaysia-based organization looked more dominant, dropping only a single game on their way to Day 2. Their only loss was handed by the hopefuls of Mineski-Dota, who debuted with Egor ".Ark" Zhabotinskii and Ryo "ryOyr" Hasegawa in their roster.
On the other hand, the resurgence continues for Execration. Ryan Jay "raging-_-potato" Qui's offlane prowess, so far, fits perfectly for Execration. Their path to redemption, as well as to Seattle, looks wider than ever as they ended their day off Open Qualifiers on a positive note--backed by a 28-minute drubbing on The Most Explosive Filipino Player's former team.
The Road to The International continues today as Clutch Gamers and Mineski-Dota kick off the action at 10 AM.
