ICYM: Clash of Clans Week 10: FINALS update

The MPGL Season 8 Clash of Clans tournament is about to reach a boiling point, as the two toughest clans in the country are set to clash this weekend at the Electronic Sports & Gaming Summit at the SMX Convention Center. The PINOY BANDIDOS will face off against PinoyViolatorMP to determine which Clash of Clans squad is the best in the Philippines.

We caught up with the Clan leaders for both squads heading into the MPLG8 CoC Championship Leg Final to get their insight on their general experience over the tournament's duration, how they're preparing for war, and just how much this championship means to them.

Questions from Mineski.net are set in Bold.

The PINOY BANDIDOS are considered to be the toughest clan in the Philippines. This powerhouse team is the clan to beat in the competitive scene. We caught up with their Clan Leader Jimrey23 as they prepare for the MPGL8 Championship Leg Grand Finals.

Kiboo: Please introduce yourself and your clan to our readers.

JRL/Jimrey23: Hello, my name is Jimrey Francisco, the clan leader of PINOY BANDIDOS1, 2, 3, & 4. My IGNs are JRL and Jimrey23.

Kiboo: How long have you been playing Clash of Clans?

JRL: I've been playing Clash of Clans for a little under 3 years.

Kiboo: Since you belong to one of the strongest teams in the country, is this a full time job for you? If not, what else do you do?

JRL: For me, CoC is a ho8bby, something to pass the time. I am currently self employed.

Kiboo: Can you tell us about your experience competing against the other clans in the MPGL8 tournament?

JRL: It was definitely exciting! We've never had this kind of event before in the Philppines, this is definitely the first time. It really makes us happy to participate in such a big event, and to meet many awesome clans and players.

Kiboo: You are about to face all-out war at ESGS this weekend for the MPGL8 CoC Championship Leg Final, how is your clan preparing for this conflict?

JRL: We went through a lot of preparation for this weekend. We engaged in scrimmages with some friendly clans, as well as doing some challenges.

Kiboo: What would it mean to you and your clan if you beat out your opponents to be crowned the ultimate champions of MPGL8 Clash of Clans?

JRL: It would mean a lot to us if ever we are crowned as the MPGL8 Clash of Clan Champions. Winning the very first MPGL event is extremely important. It would also prove that our teamwork is effective.

Kiboo: Are there any feelings of anxiety as the days lead up to your all important fight?

JRL: Of course I'm anxious. This is the Grand Finals we're talking about. I feel very nervous and excited at the same time.

Kiboo: Overall, how was the MPGL8 CoC Tournament experience?

JRL: Overall, it was a great experience. Hopefully we can do this again, thank you MPGL.

Kiboo: Do you have any words for your opponents this weekend?

JRL: Good luck to all of us. Whatever happens, win or lose, let's cherish the moment and enjoy this final game.

Kiboo: Lastly, is there anything you'd like to say to your fans and supporters

JRL: To all PINOY BANDIDOS1,2,3,4 members, fans, supporters, and players of Clash of Clans, come and join us this coming October 29, at the SMX Convention Center. Clash on!

The BANDIDOS will have their work cut out for them as they face one of the other formidable clans in the Philippines, PinoyViolatorMP. This time, we talked to their clan leader Sir Lord Patawad to ask him how they're planning to take on the titans of PH Clash of Clans.

Kiboo: Please introduce yourself and your clan to our readers.

Sir Lord Patawad: Hi, I am Mervin Rejano, the clan leader of PinoyViolatorMP. My IGN is Sir Lord Patawad

Kiboo: How long have you been playing Clash of Clans?

SLP: I've been playing Clash of Clans for almost three years now.

Kiboo: Since you belong to one of the strongest teams in the country, is this a full time job for you? If not, what else do you do?

SLP: Not at all, I'm not a full time gamer. I am currently self-employed.

Kiboo: Can you tell us about your experience competing against the other clans in the MPGL tournament?

SLP: Playing at probably the biggest stage of Esports in the Philippines is sort of fulfilling for me personally.

Kiboo: You are about to face all-out war at ESGS this weekend for the MPGL8 CoC Championship Leg Final, how is your clan preparing for this conflict?

SLP: I think there's nothing much that we could add to our strategies as far as the current gameplay is concerned. Though we are more anxious about how we will be able to deal with the pressure during the live attacks.

Kiboo: What would it mean to you and your clan if you beat out your opponents to be crowned the ultimate champions of MPGL8 Clash of Clans?

SLP: Winning would mean a lot to us, but I guess the biggest prize that we can get from this tournament is the whole experience itself.

Kiboo: Are there any feelings of anxiety as the days lead up to your all important fight?

SLP: Our opponent is considered as the clan to beat, so yeah, a bit nervous I guess, but also hyped at the same time.

Kiboo: Overall, how was the MPGL8 CoC Tournament experience?

SLP: The overall MPGL tournament experience was phenomenal.

Kiboo: Do you have any words for your opponents this weekend?

SLP: For all the clan members of PINOY BANDIDOS, GLHF.

Kiboo: Lastly, is there anything you'd like to say to your fans and supporters

SLP: I just hope that we can be able to satisfy their expectations. Rest assured that we will deliver a good and CLEAN fight.
