OG swept TNC Pro Team, 2-0, in the grand finals of the MDL Macau 2017, the fifth minor tournament of the season, for their Dota Pro Circuit points and title of the season.

The grand finalists already share a rich storyline which started at The International 2016, when the Philippine-based team nailed an upset against the European powerhouse. Although the historic match was already rewritten at The International 2017, OG's performance at the MDL Macau 2017 signified that they wanted it to be utterly erased.

Both OG and TNC Pro Team had a rough start this season, but the four-time Major champions exhibited no trace of the slump. They finished on top of the round-robin group stage with an impressive 6-2 record, only losing games to Infamous and Virtus.pro.

In the playoffs, OG picked the resurging Natus Vincere to be their first challenge only to overpower them after a close game one. TNC Pro Team emerged as the second grand finalist after sweeping Virtus.pro and it could not be more perfect for OG.

Since the historic upset at The International 2016, OG has been dominating TNC Pro Team everytime they had a chance. Starting from their meeting at the SL i-League Starseries Season 3 to their best-of-three grand finals at the MDL Macau 2017, OG is on a 7-0 game win streak against TNC Pro Team.

Despite a lopsided grand final, however, TNC Pro Team still sported a good run given that this is their first Dota Pro Circuit tournament. Along with OG, they notched their first Dota Pro Circuit points and is now sitting at the 10th place of the rankings with 270 DPC points.

Along with OG's victory, Fly also makes history as the fifth professional Dota 2 player to notch 900 career wins.
