New Overwatch Map, HotS Hero, Hearthstone Raid, and More At Gamescom 2017

Blizzard is gearing up for a slew of big reveals this week

Blizzard is set to put on their “best show yet” as they announced their return in Cologne, Germany for the Gamescom 2017 on August 22-26.

Take note, Blizzard fans, you don’t want to miss these. Starting Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 00:00 SGT, Blizzard will be streaming on their YouTube channel all of their playable content which they will be showcasing at Gamescom.

While the complete details of Blizzard’s preview video was never revealed, their announcement promised that it will include a brand-new Overwatch map, the latest hero addition for Heroes of the Storm’s vast hero pool, and a never before seen co-op commander for Starcraft!

Meanwhile, on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 00:00 SGT, the world premiere of a new Overwatch animated short will be live-streamed on their website during the Blizzard Reveal Ceremony. The shorts, according to director Jeff Kaplan, are returning for a ‘second season’

A special Fireside Gathering also awaits Hearthstone players. Gamescom 2017 will feature the first look at the newest kind of Fireside Brawl where players can gather for a group raid against Lich King. The Fireside Gathering is Hearthstone’s latest feature following the Knights of the Frozen expansion pack.
