Friberg leaves NiP roster

19-year old prodigy steps up

After four years, 10 months, and two days, Ninjas in Pyjamas announced that Adam “friberg” Friberg, a pioneer member of their CS:Global Offensive roster, will be departing from their active roster.

Friberg has been part of NiP’s historic 87-0 official game victory run. However, after their recent subpar performances--including their failure to qualify in two straight majors--the iconic esports organization finally decided to shake up their roster.

Replacing the utility/rifler is the 19-year old prodigy Fredrik “REZ” Sterner. According to their official announcement, NiP has already been scouting REZ’s talent for quite a long time. Adding a fresh talent to their veteran-savvy roster will be their first step towards rebuilding.

I am extremely happy to have been given the opportunity to play for NiP. This is a dream for every player that is working their way into the top scene. Together with the NiP team, I strongly believe we’ll reach the top,” REZ said.

REZ will be the second Epsilon player to sign up for NiP. Last March, the Swedish AWPer, William “draken” Sundin, replaced Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi.
