Fnatic's new roster featuring Malaysian icon YamateH and Indonesian pubstar InYourDream faltered in their debut at the recently concluded ESL One Genting. The new look squad failed to win a single game in their LAN on home soil as NA-based squad Digital Chaos took home the top honors.

The only new acquisition that will be staying with Fnatic is Korean support player Febby. Mushi and Ohaiyo will be the other veterans rounding up the squad. As of writing, no new replacements have been confirmed for Fnatic.

The removal of Yamateh is no surprise as he was intended to just serve as a standin for Fnatic in the tournament. The iconic mid player looked shaky in his transition to the hard support role. While InYourDream's departure was due to undisclosed family matters plaguing him at the moment as he parts with Fnatic. Be it because of performance issues or personal issues, InYourDream's story is yet another affirmation that pub stars don't always transition well into competitive Dota as he failed to churn out a single good game in Genting.

The aftermath of IYD leaving Fnatic has caused the organization to miss the Kiev Major registration deadline. So Fnatic will vie for a slot in the Kiev Major through the bloodbath of the Open Qualifiers with an undetermined roster.
