Malaysians and Filipinos unite as former Arrow Gaming captain and Johnny’s Revenge carry, Johnny “Johnny” Lee confirmed his inclusion to Mineski-Dota. Earlier, Johnny using his personal Facebook page officially announced that he will be flying to Manila this coming Friday to play once again for Mineski-Dota.
Just last week, the Malaysian carry together with his fellow Malaysian “Ah Fu” were seen competing in a LAN tournament in Thailand together with JessieVash, Yaj, and Owa for Mineski. Given the limited time for practice, the team still managed to defeat hometown favourite MiTH.Trust twice and also eliminate Singaporean powerhouse, First Departure.
Though they weren’t able to attain complete victory in the said tournament, the team still managed to finish in a convincing second place just behind Mushi and Team Malaysia.
With multiple LAN tournaments expected to hit Philippines, (ESL Philippines Finals, MPGL Philippines Finals, MPGL SEA Grand Finals) Mineski opted to call for a reliable backup in absence of their 3 players due to the “322 Scandal”.
The squad will be seen in action starting later, October 23 for the CNS Invitational wherein Johnny and Ah Fu will play online. It is reported that the two Malaysians will be staying in the country for the rest of the year.
