The aftermath of super typhoon Yolanda has caused massive relief operations that still continues today. In an effort to further help our fellow Filipinos affected by the Typhoon, Dragon Nest SEA producer Addison Kang has launched an initiative that aims to build funds for Balikdagat Basey, a recovery program launched by Be A Cause, a charity group headed by Miss Alodia Gosiengfiao.
In the note written by the producer, it was stated that one like equates to one peso that will be donated to the charity. The target is to reach one million likes, but Cherry Credits is pledging P350,000 regardless of the likes the note receives. Kang has also urged the readers to donate to the Philippine Red Cross http://www.redcross.org.ph/donate.
The aim of the project is to gather funds that shall be used to rebuild bancas for the fishermen in Samar. One banca costs around P6,000 (~$138). The newly-built bancas can then be used by the fishermen to rebuild their livelihood and homes.
