Looks like Kimuel 'Kim0' Borromeo Rodis and the rest of his gang are all set for a very merry Christmas.

Letting neither their disappointing inability to fly out to the Boston Major nor Adam '343' Shah's departure from the team slow them down one bit, Execration opened their v7.00 era in one of the best ways possible, climbing to the very top of the ASUS ROG SEA Cup in Thailand.

The Cavite-based group bested Team Faceless in the grand finals, 3-2 (including a one-game advantage by virtue of coming from the upper bracket), punctuating their impressive run with an 86-minute thriller which saw the team's offlaner and ace Djardel 'Dj' Mampusti scoring clutch vacuum-wall combos to help his team win teamfight after teamfight in the face of Daryl 'iceiceice' Koh's world-renowned Timbersaw.

Execration finished their first tournament of the new patch with a highly impressive 9-3 record, dropping games only to a Faceless squad that remains unchanged despite not winning a single game in their recent trip to Boston. All this while debuting their updated roster, which is all-Filipino once more with the addition of Joshua 'Owa' Dela Serna.

Mineski.GGNetwork, the only other PH-based squad present in the 8-team tournament, finished at a respectable third place, despite also showcasing for the very first time their new roster, which features their second Singaporean player Joel Chan 'Chibix' Jian Yong, who comes in with a massive chip on his shoulders, having to replace the team's spitfire playmaker Ryan Jay 'raging-_-potato' Qui who is out due to health concerns.
