Last Saturday, October 20 welcomed GANGSTER, the eighth team to be added at the Pinoy Gaming Festival (PGF) Dota 2 tournament. The first seven slots are already taken by Pagibig TnC, MSI Evo GT, Crucio, Ambush, UGZ, Fulltilt, and Phantom. These first eight teams are now sitting in a much more comfortable position than the rest of the competitive Philippine Dota 2 teams looking to get into the much awaited ESPORTS championship.
Team GANGSTER’s path to the qualification might be considered by some as a big upset as they defeated World Cyber Games Asian Championship 2012 Philippine representative, Mineski HyperX, during the semifinals.
In the finals, GANGSTER came up against Z-twin and 2-0’s them to secure their shot at PGF.
