Preliminaries 

"In the preliminary stage, the 16 teams are split into two groups of 8 teams each. Each team plays every team in their group twice, for a total of 14 games per team. If there are ties among teams in the same group, the ties are resolved by tie-breaker games.

At the end of the preliminary stage, the top 4 teams in each group enter the Winner's Bracket. The bottom 4 teams are sent to the Loser's Bracket."
