The Sharn Kemp Premiere League (or the SEACL) has just concluded its second week with some big results. Teams from all over the SEA region clashed here in SEACL to determine the very best. Here are the exciting results from week #2.
The face off between
MiTH and
SPR ended with a quick 3-0 sweep in favor of MiTH, but SPR still had a chance to tie it, and they did. SPR showed that they weren't complete pushovers as they took the fight to MiTH and won the next two games, including
Balloon beating Thai standout
RedArchon with a 2-1. Since ace matches are worth two points in SEACL, MiTH and SPR ended up in a 3-3 tie.
Xeria Gaming Kingston took an impressive 5-1 victory over
EvE, with only
Westley winning against
Bielsko for EvE. The rest of Xeria were able to win their matches, including
pokerface taking out
Strafe in the ace match. A similar 5-1 performance was shown by
ToT against
Terror Australis. As an exclamation point to a wonderful performance,
ForJJ takes out TA ace
Rossi with a handy 4-2.
Unfortunately, the ace match between
YoonYJ and
iceiceice was postponed. Despite that, team
aLternative was able to take down the opposing team with a solid 3-1, with
inFinity's only victory courtesy of IEM Kiev participant
Targa against
SQLTHuT.
Mineski vs Herocraft
Finally, in what could be seen as the most heated matchup, it was
Herocraft against Mineski. The Filipino team's Australian member,
Azz, took a loss against veteran progamer
tgun in a hard-fought 1-2. He was avenged by his fellow Protoss player,
Pobbes, beating
timber 2-1. In game 3,
WaningMoon was held back in a PvP against
Risen, 1-2. It was 2-1 so far in favor of
Herocraft.
To rally back, Mineski sent in two of their very best. Team captain
JaBiTo beat his Zerg opponent
Shuffle with a 2-1. Then at last, it was the ace match between the Filipino bonjwa,
EnDerr, against SEA's most well-known player,
mOOnGLaDe. In what a lot of people would call an upset. EnDerr didn't even give his opponent any room to breathe as he took mOOnGLaDe down with a stellar 2-0.
Mineski now sits near the top of the standings with 2-0-0, only being edged out by Xeria Gaming with one game due to their 5-1 performance in week 2.
