viOLet joins Empire

Much has changed for the former GSL standout, viOLet. He had been one of the rising stars in Korea, being a part of Team MVP as its captain and performing quite well in the GSL. After he left MVP back in September 2011, he had hit some obstacles that led him to be teamless for months. Now, he has finally found a team that shares his goal in fulfilling his true potential.

Empire, a Russian team with the likes of KasHappy, and Beastyqt in its roster, has taken viOLet as their own on January 21, 2012. Before that, he had set up residence in Texas and practiced in the CSN Training Camp for a good amount of time. He posted good results in IPL 3: Origins, MLG Providence, and recently in HomeStory Cup IV.

In HSC4, he was able to take fourth place after being eliminated by ST_Sound, who ended up in second place. ViOLet had taken out MarineKing there, who had previously eliminated him back in MLG Providence after viOLet had gone through the open bracket and landed a spot in the championship bracket.
